It is our honor to recognize and congratulate Marie Moffett, as the Fort Bend Republican Women Club PAC’s Volunteer of the Quarter.

Marie Moffett joined the club in April 2021.  Wanting to make a difference, she volunteered to be the club's Awards committee Co-Chair. Marie also made an impactful choice for Conservative causes by becoming a precinct chair for her area.  In that role she routinely communicates with her precinct members on matters related to Fort Bend GOP events and meetings.

Marie continues to work as a polling judge that keeps Marie busy with this election cycle.  Not only is Marie the club’s Awards committee Co-Chair, but she has also taken a new position as the Military/Veterans Project Chair. Her focus is with the PTDS Foundation of America – Camp Hope Houston

Marie logged 30 Political Activity hours utilizing Clockify, the club's new time tracking application from her computer or phone.  Marie's hours were reported to the Texas Federation of Republican Women Awards Chairman.

Presidents Message

Lois Greminger
President 2026

I wanted to write to each of you to let you know who you elected as President of the Fort Bend Republican Women’s PAC.  I am a resident of Fort Bend County since 1979 when we bought a house in the subdivision of Pecan Grove in Richmond. I have been married to Larry Gremminger for 45 years. We raised 3 children in the Fort Bend Independent School District (FBISD) where I later became an 8th grade teacher at Hodges Bend Middle School. After 5 years of teaching at FBISD, I moved to Holy Rosary Catholic School and taught 5th graders so I could see the difference in public school versus private schools. Most recently, I have home schooled our 5th grade granddaughter due to issues within another school district. On a separate but fun tidbit, I am the author of The Space Case book which is a bedtime story I told my children. The book was created as a small chapter book to fit the requirements for the science curriculum that children with dyslexia could actually meet. I am the first person in my Louisiana family who has gone to college and received a degree. My Bachelors of Science in Math Education from University of Houston gave me the basis to begin teaching children. I continued to teach adults by becoming the Vice President of Human Resource/Finance of Elge, Inc, my family’s pharmaceutical manufacturing company, for 25 years until I retired. In 2016, I completed my Masters in Human Resources at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
I am a community activist by volunteering with Fort Bend Women’s Center in various capacities. I am a Court Appointed Special Advocate(CASA) for Child Advocates of Fort Bend where I interacted with Texas Department of Family Services for ten plus years. I was the Central Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce Leadership Facilitator for seven (7) years in which a few people you might know went through the class during my tenure, such as USA Senator Troy Nehls, Chad Bridges, Chad Norvell, and Christopher Morales to name a few.
I am a Christian and believe God has a plan for each of us if we listen and obey. I have been a member of Sacred Heart for 45 years and served as Youth Minister, Christian Education teacher, Bazaar Chair for 3 years. I continue to serve as Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Wedding Coordinator, Emergency Response Committee Secretary, Grounds and Maintenance Secretary and Historical Society Chair.
I am a Republican political activist in many ways. They range from simple things that others can easily do by voting at every election, donating funds to candidates, placing signs for candidates in my yard, block walking for the HOA as well as candidates, holding Meet and Greets for candidates in my home, being a poll watcher, becoming a ballot board member, volunteering at the Fort Bend Republican Lincoln Reagan Dinner, PAC Treasurer for Fort Bend Republican Women’s Club (FBRWC) as well as the Greater Houston Council of Federated Republican Women Club (GHCFRWPAC), and am a member of the Texas Federated Republican Women (TFRW). In 2022 and 2024, I was appointed as a convention state delegate for Senate District (SD18). In 2024, I was elected as an Alternate National Delegate for the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I believe it is important for everyone to vote at every election and do one other item to help promote the Republican values of Faith, Family and Freedom. By the way, the State Convention is in Houston in 2026! Hope you try to become a delegate for our area! The National Convention will be in Houston in 2028! Let’s make our mark Fort Bend!
I love my church, community, state and nation. It is a shame to see our world turn into chaos where immorality is being promoted by the media and subsidized by our government through television shows, movies, and hiding of the truth. Our schools have become a ground for promoting inappropriate sexual information, inappropriate language,
inappropriate creating of division among the cultures and removing our country’s history to satisfy a small group of individuals while removing the pledge of allegiance, and God out of the schools in every fashion they can. There isn’t enough time or space in this short biography to express my concern about our nation’s lack of Christian values that are being pushed upon everyone. Being a delegate is only a small way, I can help promote returning education to the basic studies and speaking about returning our christian values as our nation’s founders gave us. Hopefully my voice joined by your voice will help our nation get back on the right track. May God have mercy on our nation.
